Yes, Emma Stone‘s Twitter is verified, but don’t let that fool you: She’s not the one doing the tweeting. Who is? She would love to know. Emma spilled to Ryan Seacrest that her account was hacked – and the hackers changed the password so she can’t get back in!
“I’m glad you asked me about this, I have never tweeted my friend. I’ve tweeted one time to Seth MacFarlane, I said, ‘Me too, oh boy.’ And then I’ve been hacked ever since and they’ve locked me out of my Twitter so I can’t access it because they changed my email and my password so we are trying to figure out how to delete it.”
So all of those seemingly-mean girl or just plain weird tweets that have gone out from Emma’s account (and then been deleted): Those aren’t even her tweets!
“I heard the other day they tweeted an anagram about Shailene Woodley who is one of my favorite human beings on the planet…I heard it was an anagram of Shailene and Andrew [Garfield] sitting in a tree…that was the first one I heard and then I heard there was a rich history of other things I’ve tweeted and deleted and I didn’t know about any of this happening because I don’t go on Twitter I just had a verified account but now I want to get rid of it.”
Yikes! We feel for you, Em! Have you ever had a social media account hacked? How did you handle it? Tell us in the comments and on Twitter!
